Config converter help
For Minecraft 1.12.2 / 0.34 development syntax. Back up your saved configuration before replacing a list. Conversion stays in your browser; no game files are read, uploaded or edited.
Original list and Converted list sit side by side on wide screens; on phones they stack in that order. Entry review follows both lists. Each source-version config choice shows an old-format example without overwriting your draft. Attributes uses one shared race/element/item format: the released 0.33.4 readers used the same parser. Keep the actual game config lists separate; the converter does not merge their ownership or application behavior.
Use
- Choose your config list, then paste one entry or one selected list. Raw lines, JSON arrays of strings/objects, and one Forge wrapper are supported. Do not paste an entire config file or combine unrelated config properties.
- Review every original alongside its result. Successful rows form a copyable list in their original order even if other rows fail. A partial list is clearly labelled, and unresolved originals are kept in a separate selectable field. Do not replace your full saved list with partial output.
- Choose raw Forge rows, a Forge wrapper, or a JSON array of escaped config strings. JSON-array output is for interchange, not a Forge list body. A wrapper name does not move a property between categories.
- Resolve the remaining originals before replacing your whole list. Clipboard unavailable? Use Select output for manual copy.
Mixed Treasure lists
Choose Greedy Eyes / Treasure once for the entire list. Ore dictionary keys, blocks, entities and materials can appear together. Bare names select ore dictionary keys; !mat: selects material. Vanilla entities use the Minecraft 1.12.2 registry; other minecraft: IDs and wildcard IDs select blocks. Installed mod registries are not available here. Resolve unknown modded IDs, or override detection, using the selector control on the affected row. You never need to split the list by selector type.
oreCoal;#464646 minecraft:chest;*;#FFD700 minecraft:chest_minecart;#FFD700
Becomes one list:
{"ore":"oreCoal","color":"#464646"}
{"block":"minecraft:chest","metadata":"*","color":"#FFD700"}
{"entity":"minecraft:chest_minecart","color":"#FFD700"}Version scope and released lists
Select the tool revision separately from the source and target mod versions. Currently reviewed: 0.33.4 โ 0.34 development for Minecraft 1.12.2. No official 0.34 release is implied. Development tools update in place without retained snapshots or revision bumps. Only when 0.34 officially releases should a tool version be locked and kept. Open Versions in the header for tool/mod selections.
The selector contains only supported released source lists: race/item attributes, potion effects/resistances, equipment and bow weights, mana recovery and mixed Treasure. Development-only classification, weapon, projectile, global potion and label lists are not legacy migration choices.
Damage Types to Ignore is not automatically convertible. Use the damage rule builder (new tab): choose Damage modifiers, then the matching race/item config destination. Recreate the intended behavior; old entries are not imported or converted automatically.
Legacy potion grants remain unchanged with a warning because JSON changes their removal/lifetime behavior. Exact namespaced legacy potion-removal IDs can be converted. Bow weight means draw weight in pounds; equipment weight uses its own configured units.
Faelis weights belong in Equipment Weight โ Weighted Equipment, with its enable toggle in the same section. Move your tuning manually. This tool does not change enablement, add defaults or alter the Invigorated exemption.
Limits and diagnostics
Positional/regex damage, unsupported development fields, wildcard potion IDs and unrelated grammars need manual review. Invalid rows remain visible and selectable, while successfully converted rows remain available. A diagnostic report includes every original but is not config.
Verify registry IDs, ore dictionary availability, custom labels and optional providers yourself. Syntax validation is not gameplay certification. Blanks are retained but may not be accepted in game. A trailing raw newline is a final blank; use an empty JSON array or Forge wrapper for an empty list.
